The Missouri Language and Literacies Center (MLLC) conducts and applies cutting edge research to understand the complex language and literacies needs of the 21st century.
MLLC hosts events that explore key ideas in language and literacies, as well as disseminating contemporary research on language and literacy teaching. Events include panel discussions, speaker series, and webinars. Check the calendar for updated events.

Our core mission is to help teachers prepare students for the language and literacy needs of today and tomorrow. One way we do pursue this goal is by working directly with teachers, schools, and districts. If you are in interested in professional development with MLLC faculty please contact us.
